Yamaha has finally launched its third Generation R15 bike in India. Its ex-showroom price in New Delhi has been kept at 1.25 lakhs. Yamaha R15's first generation bike was launched 10 years ago at the 2008 Auto Expo. Upgrades have been done in the style and performance of the new bike. Hope people will like these changes.
This brand new 155cc, 4-stroke engine bike was already being sold in the international market. This new bike engine of Yamaha R15 generates power of 19.3 ps at 10,000 rpm. At 8,500 rpm this engine generates 14.7 newton meter torque. Liquid cooling and fuel injection are its standard features.
The engine has been equipped with 6-speed manual gearbox. The new engine generates 16 percent more power than the old bike model engine. Yamaha claims that the new model will get 5% more mileage. Assistant and slipper clutch has also been given in the new Yamaha R15 model to reduce the amount of Effort in the gear shift.

The front end of the bike has been revived. There are twin-LED headlamps in it. Suspension has been balanced with telescopic front forks and rear monococcus.
